In the 2011-2012 season, Teresa was seen as the soprano soloist in the concert series, Around the World in 80 Minutes, in Boca Raton, FL with internationally acclaimed violinist, Yi-Jia Susanne Hou. She also appeared as the soprano soloist in the concert series, All the Good Stuff in North Carolina, West Virginia, and Connecticut. In May 2012, she debuted her programmatic recital program, Bury My Heart, with actor Ryan Stadler and pianist Saffron Chung. In June 2012, she created the role of Vera Goodman in the world premiere of Slaying the Dragon with Center City Opera in Philadelphia.
Teresa Eickel has also performed as a solo recitalist at the Ravinia Festival’s Rising Star Series and has garnered critical and audience acclaim as the title role in Madama Butterfly with Mobile Opera, Festival Opera, Boheme Opera, Bear Valley Music Festival, Opera Fairbanks, and Ashlawn Opera. She also appeared as the soprano soloist in Mahler’s 2nd Symphony, Resurrection, with the New Haven Symphony.
Ryan Stadler performs in a wide variety of arenas such as opera, musicals, plays, film, TV, and radio. Recently he was in the NY Fringe Festival where he created the role of Captain Mavros in Buddy Becker’s Big Uncut Flick. Prior to that, Ryan performed in the inaugural performance of Apple Core Theater Company’s critically acclaimed Won and Lost playing a Vietnam veteran, Natwick, in Pvt. Wars. Mr. Stadler also created the role of Thaddeus in Dinner at Precisely Eight-Thirteen which debuted in the Pretentious Festival at the Brick Theater in Brooklyn. He also made a cast recording of this wonderful musical. Ryan received rave reviews for his portrayal of the conflicted officer Horowitz in The Painter at The Barrow Group Theater as well as for a comedic turn as Sonny Rocco and Postman Pierre in Say Your Prayer’s Mug at the Red Room theater.
In television, Mr. Stadler has been seen in HBO’s Flight of the Conchords, FX’s Rescue Me, and on Guiding Light, TV’s longest running soap opera.
